STILLWATER PRAIRIE

The owners of this Stillwater home wanted four things from their new kitchen:  a larger more open plan, a design theme that connected it to the other rooms, a display space for their Japanese art collection and an overall design that honored the site.  I removed several walls, raised the ceiling and added multiple windows to make the room feel larger and bring the outside in.  Prairie-themed wooden bands were used  to connect the rooms to one another and to the art display cabinet that flows between the living room and kitchen.  Built by Vujovich Design Build
